Alliance for Housing and Healing

Alliance for Housing and Healing’s mission is to provide essential housing and supportive services to people living in poverty with HIV/AIDS or other challenging health conditions.

Door of Hope

Door of Hope empowers families facing homelessness to transform their lives through holistic programs designed to help parents and children overcome the practical, emotional and financial challenges they face. Their Transitional Housing Program moves families from homelessness to permanent housing, while our Homelessness Prevention Program intervenes early to keep families in their own homes.

Food on Foot

Food on Foot is dedicated to assisting the poor and homeless of Los Angeles through programs that provide nutritious meals, clothing, work opportunities and ultimately the transition to full-time employment and life off the streets.

Hope of the Valley

Hope of the Valley’s mission is to prevent, reduce and eliminate poverty, hunger and homelessness. They do this by offering immediate assistance and long-term solutions. They are a faith-based independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that does not discriminate based on gender, age, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religious affiliation or lack thereof. Their services are grounded in a deep respect for the dignity inherent in each human being.

LA Family Housing

LA Family Housing helps people transition out of homelessness and poverty through a continuum of housing enriched with supportive services. LAFH employs evidence-based best practices to achieve their goals, and operate 26 properties of temporary, permanently affordable, and permanent supportive housing across Los Angeles, with headquarters and most services based in the San Fernando Valley.

National Health Foundation

The National Health Foundation’s mission is to improve the health of individuals and under-resourced communities by taking action on the social determinants of health. NHF’s vision is that all people, regardless of who they are or where they live, can achieve their highest level of health.

Proyecto Pastoral at Dolores Mission

Proyecto Pastoral is a Boyle Heights-based community building organization working in the east side of Los Angeles and helps 5,000 children and families each year. They believe that effective solutions to community challenges must be designed and implemented in close partnership with our community residents.

San Fernando Valley Rescue Mission

The San Fernando Valley Rescue Mission operates a 90-bed family shelter, offering hope, shelter and safe, supportive housing to thousands of families who are homeless. The facility includes private family bedrooms, a commercial kitchen, common dining room and living spaces, meeting rooms, computer education center, playground and garden – all geared toward helping families achieve a brighter future.

The Havens Relief Fund Society

The Havens Relief Fund Society helps struggling New York City residents and their families overcome imminent financial crises by providing modest, one-time grants through a network of volunteer community leaders and professionals.

The People Concern

The People Concern empowers the most vulnerable among us to rebuild their lives. With compassion and profound respect for those they serve, The People Concern provide a fully integrated system of care - including outreach, interim housing, mental and medical health care, substance abuse services, domestic violence services, lifeskills and wellness programs, and permanent supportive housing - tailored to the unique needs of homeless individuals, survivors of domestic violence, challenged youth, and others who have nowhere to turn.

Union Station Homeless Services

Union Station Homeless Services’ mission is to help individuals and families rebuild their lives and end homelessness. The lasting solution to homelessness is housing, so Union Station Homeless Services provides the most vulnerable members of our society with housing first, so they may stabilize and receive the support they need to stay housed for good and reintegrate into their community.
